Electromechanical Brakes with Torque Recovery
Electromechanical brakes with torque recovery are safety brakes equipped with springs that compensate for the loss of nominal braking torque (primary torque) caused by normal wear of the friction material, by applying an additional torque (secondary torque) of appropriate value.
The range includes the following models available for immediate delivery:
- DF 70 – Nominal torque 70 Nm
- DF 110 – Nominal torque 110 Nm

Safety Microswitch Adjustment
The DF brake assembly is equipped with two safety microswitches that confirm the opening of the lower brake (primary) and the upper brake (secondary).
The opening of the lower coil corresponds to the complete release of the brake.
Since the lower coil applies the necessary force to release the entire Double Brake, even in the case of maximum allowable wear of the brake disc, the DF brake assembly can also be used in the event of malfunction of the upper coil. In this condition, the maximum torque generated increases by approximately 15 Nm compared to the nominal value, as indicated in the following table.
